Neck:
Made
of one solid piece of selected, fine-grained and well seasoned European
maple, shaped to the fullness of the pre-war necks to help support the
precision of the tone.
Fingerboard:
Rosewood with highly figured mother of pearl inlays, arched for easy
playing, white/black celluloid bindings and bone nut, scale lenght 26,5
Inches.
Peghead:
Taper-shaped, with ebony overlay, hand-cut mother of pearl inlays, Truss-rod cover made of sterling silver.
Tuners:
Waverly V-2 with ivoroid or amber buttons.
Pot Assembly:
Three-ply maple rim with hand-fitted B.A.G.- twenty-hole flathead tone ring and one piece zinc flange, tension hoop available in brass or zinc.
Note:
The sand-cast B.A.G.- tone ring is an exact pre-war flathead reproduction, analysed and certified for it’s absolutely authentic alloy.
Resonator:
Flamed maple matching the neck, classical 5-ply back and tapered 3-ply wall construction bound with white/black celluloid.
Bridge:
Hand-made of old Bosnian maple, specially selected for each banjo to ensure best results.
Finish:
Nitro varnish, slightly shaded Cremona-red on yellow base.
